A monster calls...

This term Class Six have been exploring building tension and suspense within their writing. We have been using sections from 'A Monster Calls' by Patrick Ness, exploring how short sentences build tension. We have also been focusing on building character and atmosphere; using speech, action and description to improve our writing. We have produced some fantastic shared writing, building on each other’s ideas.
