Fair's Fair!

In March, a group of performers from the Theatre by the Lake in Keswick came into school to work on drama activities with Clas 5.  The theme was Fair's Fair and centred on a fictitious civilisation and its method of leadership.  The children investigated the idea of fairness and how the behaviour of one group affected others. They had to empathise with both groups in different situations and decide what their own course of action might be.

The children found some of the ideas challenging but all children made valuable contributions and all had their ideas and pereptions challenged at times.

The event culminated in the different groups working together to solve the problems of the differnt groups of islanders and we had some very creative and imaginative solutions.
