Mad About Materials!

This half term in Science, we are exploring everyday materials and their uses. We kickstarted this by investigating different items and the materials that they were made from. 

We were able to separate our items into; glass, wood, metal, rock and plastic and we even considered what some of the materials were useful for. 

Then, with the help of our trusty friend Professor Muddles we went on a material hunt. This started in our classroom where we searched high and low for different materials. Afterwards, we explored our playground and nature area to see what materials we could find here. 

We all had lots of fun searching for materials and can't wait to investigate these more as our science work unfolds.
