Experimenting with watercolors

In art, children have been exploring watercolor paints and learning how to apply watercolor using the main wash techniques.   Each technique creates a different effect and children used a range of brushes, cartridge papers and watercolor paints to practise each technique and compare the results.  Children will then use their understanding of creating different effects to help them produce their own watercolor scene.
