Our Trip to Carlisle Fire Station

On the 4th February 2015, children in Class Four were able to visit Carlisle fire station. The trip linked with our topic work on natural disasters and gave children an insight into the Carlisle floods.

We were given a tour of the station by four lovely firemen and were able to explore the different equipment carried by the firemen and on their fire engines. We even got to witness an emergency call out - it was very exciting! A definate highlight of the trip was seeing Miss Glendinning dressed up in a firefighter suit.

Overall, the trip was huge success and was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Take a look through our pictures to see our day!
