Welcome back to the Spring Term!

We have begun our learning this half term focused on traditional tales. To start with, we studied the cautionary tale of Little Red Riding Hood. Together and in groups, we have acted out the story using props and joined in with the repeated refrains. Using wooden blocks and other construction materials, the children created a tuff tray set up of the deep dark woods including Little Red Riding Hood's houe and Grandma's cottage. We have also honed our fine motor skills whilst making bracelets to cheers Grandma up. We used different thicknesses of thread, twine, pipecleaners, pasta and hoops. Some of use created repeated patterns on our bracelets - we're sure they will make Grandma feel better!
