Year 1/2 2026 - 2027

Welcome to our class page for Year 1 and 2. We are looking forward to an excellent year with all of you!

This year, your class teacher will be Miss L Hewetson and we will be supported by a few teaching assistants throughout the week as follows:

Miss Robinson every morning, Miss Swainson all day Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and Miss Smith all day Thursday and Friday. 

Mrs Whitfield will be teaching the class on a Thursday afternoon for Miss Hewetson's PPA cover. 

PE

This half term our PE days are Mondays and Fridays. Please ensure that your child has their kit as outlined below: 

PE kit comprises of a white t-shirt and black shorts. Pumps can be worn inside. For outdoor PE, trainers are safest. In colder weather, the children can wear black jogging bottoms and their school jumper or hoodie. Long hair should be tied back and earrings should not be worn.

In Autumn 1 Year 2 will be going swimming on a Friday afternoon.
